Knoxville Storytellers Project: Knoxville Stories, March 23, 2020 POSTPONED

POSTPONED: Knoxville Stories. Stories about the city where we live, work and create memories. March 23, 2020.

Whether this is your first or fortieth time at a storytelling show, you’re going to want to pay great attention to this next part: THANK YOU!

We could not put on these incredible events without the attention and support of you, our neighbors. Storytelling is a unique experience, where listening plays just as important a role as telling.

In that spirit, we’re now offering Supporter seating as a way for you to continue to support storytelling in your community.

We want to be clear: Purchasing a Supporter ticket is not a “deal,” but it is a way to get 2 tickets to every show in our season as well as acknowledgment in every program at our show. Supporters will also get priority seating in the first two rows, and most importantly you show everyone who attends one of our nights that you support local storytelling. What a powerful statement to make.

Please choose the shows you wish to attend when purchasing your ticket.

Dear Storytelling fan,

Knoxville Stortellers event "Knoxville Stories" scheduled for March 23 at the Schulz Brau Brewing Company has been postponed.

As a precaution, the Knoxville News Sentinel has made this decision to help prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus in our community. We are taking these steps out of an abundance of caution.

Our newsroom is thankful so many people have chosen to share their evenings with us. Public health officials have not yet made this a requirement for events like this one. Nevertheless, based on information from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, we think this is right for you, and for the journalists and community members who bring you these stories.

We are working rapidly to reschedule the event for a later date, and will honor original tickets. But, we are happy to offer you a full refund, if you cannot attend the rescheduled show for any reason.
