Dear Storytelling fan,
The Salem Storytellers Project event "You are what you eat" scheduled for May 12 at the Marion Polk Food Share has been postponed.
As a precaution, the Statesman Journal has made this decision to help prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus in our community. We are taking these steps out of an abundance of caution.
Our newsroom is thankful so many people have chosen to share their evenings with us. We are following recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention that all events of more than 50 people be canceled. We think this is right for you, and for the journalists and community members who bring you these stories.
We are working rapidly to reschedule the event for a later date, and will honor original tickets. But, we are happy to offer you a full refund, if you cannot attend the rescheduled show for any reason.
If you would like to request a refund, please use this FORM.

Join the Salem Statesman Journal for stories about food: Favorite foods, restaurants, farmers markets. Time spent around the table with family and friends.
The Salem Storytellers project puts local people on stage to talk honestly about their lives. Their stories inspire us, connect us, make us laugh — and, often, they explore life’s more complicated truths. We do this with the goal of promoting empathy, understanding and love for people whose stories are different than our own.
