Our mission – serving and reflecting a community while fostering empathy – is more relevant now than ever. And it is our hope that in the coming months, you will continue to gather with us and your neighbors. But we know that the idea of gathering with your community could feel a little nerve-wracking right now.
So, we want you to know, we’re following the recommendations for events made by the city, county and state health officials in each of our Storytellers Project communities. We are happy to offer full refunds if you can’t make an upcoming show, and if things change, we will stay in communication with you on an event-by-event basis.

My Culture, My Identity
Join the Ventura County Star for a night of storytelling around the theme My Culture, My Identity.
The Ventura Storytellers Project offers a local platform for authentic, first-person storytelling that connects us as a community, helps us relate to one another and fosters empathy. It's personal. It's live. It's journalism told by the people who lived the stories.
The Storytellers Project is part of the USA TODAY NETWORK.
