Dear Storytelling fan,
The York Storytellers Project event "Tattoo Tales" scheduled for May 5 at the Appell Center for the Performing Arts has been postponed.
As a precaution, the York Daily Record has made this decision to help prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus in our community. We are taking these steps out of an abundance of caution.
Our newsroom is thankful so many people have chosen to share their evenings with us. We are following recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention that all events of more than 50 people be cancelled. We think this is right for you, and for the journalists and community members who bring you these stories.
We are working rapidly to reschedule the event for a later date, and will honor original tickets. But, we are happy to offer you a full refund, if you cannot attend the rescheduled show for any reason.
If you would like to request a refund, please use this FORM.
Contact us HERE with any questions or concerns.
Join the York Daily Record for this evening of storytelling on Tattoo Tales- the special stories behind the ink.
The York Storytellers project puts local people on stage to talk honestly about their lives. Their stories inspire us, connect us, make us laugh — and, often, they explore life’s more complicated truths. We do this with the goal of promoting empathy, understanding and love for people whose stories are different than our own.
